Disney On Ice is back again a the Newcastle Utilita Arena, with a celebration of 100 Years of Magic.
This Disney On Ice production features over 50 of your favourite Disney Characters including many Disney Princesses, Pixar pals as well as the Disney Classics.
You can’t help but sing along to all the songs you’ve grown up with. There are so many stories that have embedded themselves into our family for many different reasons, that each moment triggers a memory.
Disney On Ice Magical Memories.
Imogen is now 11 and a half (the half is important). And as we look through the line up of this Disney On Ice production, we spotted Tiana and Naveen (Princess and the Frog). This was the first fully animated film that Imogen saw at the cinema. The songs are catchy and even the villain has an ear-worm of a song.
Abigail is a lot younger (8 and a bit) was more wrapped up in the Frozen scene. Everything was Elsa and Ana, we saw it in the pictures twice and the instant “Let it Go” drops your instantly transported to Arendelle. There was a point where everything was Frozen and you couldn’t escape it. It’s still powering on 6 years on.
For me, I can’t help but think back to the days of Aladdin. Aladdin was magical in many ways, not only was the movie a massive hit, it had really good songs and lyrics in it that has continued into the latest movie update of Aladdin. The songs from Aladdin also bring me back to my first Holiday to Walt Disney World, where at the Disney MGM Studios, they had an Aladdin Parade. It was a true spectacle to watch as it seemed to unfurl like the Prince Ali part of the film.
Say “Bonjour” to Belle from Beauty and the Beast! With so many of the older classics being remade into live action, the older classics become new hits for the next generation.
